Kalymnos island – the renowned home of the legendary Sponge Divers - invites you to enjoy a unique experience in waters where diving traditions go back at least two thousand years. Kalymnos has the largest scuba diving area in Greece – a 12 km coastline full of flora, fish, caves, walls, reefs, shipwrecks, volcanoes and a multitude of uncharted islets. All these in crystal clear warm water with a visibility of 30 - 35 meters.

Local diving clubs and liveaboards organize daily diving in various locations of unpararelled underwater beauty and offer a complete range of CMAS & PADI courses.

Our proposal regarding courses and excursions is organized by several schools including PEGASUS diving club that is the longest established and operating diving school in Kalymnos. The school offers a 51 ft. classic wooden greek boat specially equipped to accomodate scuba divers. Aboard Pegasus there is a first aid kit, easy access to land with a dinghy. Medical attention is very quick due to the hyperbaric chamber operating at Kalymnos hospital. Other features aboard: snack bar, toilets and showers, deck mattresses.
